Coding Club is a peer-to-peer learning community aiming to develop statistics and programming fluency, initiated by alumni of the Conservation Science course. We believe that coding can be fun and we want to create a safe space where we can ask questions and improve our skills. We organise weekly workshops on a wide range of topics from data visualisation to modelling and reproducible coding. Coding Club is for everyone, regardless of their career stage or current level of R knowledge. Our mission is to create a diverse learning community where we help each other to advance our quantitative skills – if you would like to join us or learn more, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All of the workshop materials are available online, so you can complete the tutorials in your own time as well.
Coding Club is supported by an Innovation Initiative Grant from the Edinburgh Fund at the University of Edinburgh.
